Description:The Uloitha are a proud race of boar-like bipeds, with sharp oversized tusk-like fangs that jut out from their jaws and narrow, feral eyes. A fierce warrior race, they spurn any magics other than those of the Toteminor or Giaour professions. They possess a keen sense of smell and are fleet of foot, but not as agile as other races. They have an intense hatred of both the Ale'un and Prrmyr, seeing nature as spoils to be taken for their use, not something to be protected.
Attitudes on:
Humans:
(Yuannor)
"Stupid things can't make up their minds. Are they warriors or aren't they? Too soft on their young, that's the problem. Don't make them worthy of the sword early on. Their females are nice to play with, but only if you throw them off afterwards."
Elves:
(Ale'un)
"Filthy fairers deserve only to be gutted and their heads put on spikes. Arrogant bastards thinking they can tell us where we can and can't hunt. They're so weak they have to fight with arrows and spears. One sword-thrust and they're dead, which is just how we like them. When they're dead, they shut up!"
Dwarves:
(Eowujar)
"Decent enough fighters, but they share the fairer's attitude that they can tell us where and what we can and can't hunt. If it lives in the ground, they think its theirs to protect, but our diamond axes are more important than their constant low mewling about 'the rights of the world's wealth.' Pathetic."
Ogres:
(Gwirath)
"Our hairy brothers know how to fight! We have a long and bloody history of wars fought side-by-side with the Gwirath, and they understand the importance of survival by combat."
Drakyn:
(L'zyarn)
"Decent warriors, for big flying lizards, but this whole 'We are descended from dragons' snooty attitude gets on my nerves. They need to realize they're just big lizards with giant bug wings growing out of their backs. That don't make them better, it makes them freaks."
Minotaurs:
(Makkar)
"Beserkers don't make for good warriors. They make for good archer-fodder, and that's where we place the Makkar. They're a bit like wild arian boars: You can use them, if you can get them mad enough to run in a straight line and point well."
Nixies:
(N'allarri)
"Those annoying little skimmers would do well to just stay in the water and leave the world to thems what can run it. They think that they're so smart, but watch one gasping after being dry for too long and ask yourself how smart that is."
Pixies:
(P'allarri)
"Flitters are fun to use as live training exercises, but unless you need somebody to crawl up your hind and look for burrs, there isn't much else they're good for. Too small to sex, too annoying to keep as pets, and too stringy to eat. Bah, useless."
Prrmyr:
(Prrymr)
"We side with the Trokhon on these freaks. Those scratchers are right up there with the damn fairers as far as being main foes, but here it's because they're unnatural. They're made-up, for sex sake! They're like blood puppets, and need to be put down."
Half-Elves:
(S'Ale'un)
"Who'd think that a combination of wyfolk and fairers would be able to produce something worthwhile, but lots of these halfers seem to be able to fight pretty well. They're still flawed from birth, but at least they try."
Half-Orcs:
(S'Uloitha)
"Figures the wyfolk would be fertile breeding grounds for just about any other species. If only it didn't make our young so damned weak, and ugly to boot. Some of them rise above it, but more don't, so we have to watch out for them."
Trokhon:
(Trokhon)
"Uloitha and wolves have always gotten along, since we both know the way of the warrior, and the Trokhon are no different. Yes, sometimes their tribal code gets in the way of the warrior code, but they know how to be warriors in their hearts, when they remember the way of the wolf, and thus are our brothers too."
Halflings:
(Vandar)
"Annoying but harmless. At least they know they're no threat to us, and as such don't go out of their way to provoke us to kill them. Not that we don't ever, but we don't have to always."
Zhaun:
(Zha'un)
"Calling someone a darker is the same as saying they have no honor, and these folk don't. They are good fighters, but they have no concept of the way, and cannot be trusted."
Cernunian:
(Cernunian)
"Talking forest. What will come next... talking birds? These things are annoying, mostly in that we never understand a damned word they say. They speak auran, but they don't use parts of it that make any sense. They also don't have a clue about what it means to be in the heat of battle. Bet they don't have hearts."
Gnomes:
(Feinggar)
"Rutting little things just love to run around and crow about how smart they are, but they're worthless in a fight, and so the only reason we suffer them is that sometimes they make worthwhile things."
